In the mid 1960s everything started with a simple idea – Wolfgang Ziegler wanted to become a musician.<\/p>\n

The result was – the Beat Quartet, the Baltics, the group WIR – in between were 25 years and a life in the fast lane.<\/p>\n

But countless concerts, No. 1 hits, TV, radio productions at home and abroad had left their mark. At some point, the “we” feeling came to an end.
\nThe frontman who had given the band’s an unmistakable vocal profile for decades, Wolfgang Ziegler became the solo artist.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-4 vc_col-md-4″]

\nA short time later, Wolfgang Ziegler composed a hit that sold 1.5 million copies. “Verdammt und dann stehst Du im Regen”, this song shaped his life.
\nKnown only in the GDR in the 80s, “Verdammt” has become a hit throughout Germany to this day.<\/p>\n

Whether in the Kessel Buntes with Carmen Nebel, the Jose Carreras Gala, the ZDF Hit Parade or in the ZDF – Fernsehgarten, Wolfgang Ziegler has left his mark.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-4 vc_col-md-4″]
